1. Location of collection: BLM land near Live Oak Springs in San Diego County

2. Habitat of collection: Desert scrub
3. Length: 12mm 
4. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: Dark brown / reddish-orange thorax and gaster, black head, long hairs all over body
5. Distinguishing characteristics: One plate-like petiole
