Hello all,  I know it is a pretty broad question so I will narrow it down based on my limited knowledge, Recently in Scotland there has been mass nuptial flights of Lasius Niger, when would a Parasitic species which uses these as a host tend to have their flight in and around the Glasgow/Central Scotland area? Would it be during the same sort of timeframe or entirely different (assuming they only go for an already established colony)

 

Any info is appreciated

Not sure where you're located, but in Minnesota, I found a bunch of parasitic lasius in late May.

Ah shoot I forgot to add that, Yeah I am from Glasgow area in Scotland I checked online as best as I Could and it seems Lasius Umbratus is the only one in this area, Flies in August/September apparently? So I will just need to keep my eyes peeled after some good weather starts to show up again... in 5 years because this is Scotland
