I found this queen and her 2 nanintics over a small pile of brood under a rock in a pot on my balcony. My house is right next to a quite dry mountain with some vegetation.I found her on July 25.She is all black from what I can distinguish. How often should I feen a colony this size?I gave them 2 tiny drops of raw honey and a freshly killed small moth and 24 hours later the had eaten all of the honey and the moth carcass was clearly tampered and eaten a bit.Can you ID her and tell me how often I should feed her?Measurement is in CM/MM

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
