This will be a journal for all my Camponotus colonies which are:
sansabeanus 15 workers
anthrax 8 workers
hyatti 8 workers (hibernating)
hyatti 4 workers (hibernating)
vicinus 5 workers (hibernating)
vicinus 0 workers (hibernating)
laevigatus 3 workers (hibernating)
And of course semitestaceus

camponotus are my favorite. i am currently keeping 2 species, but i need to get more next year, if i can find any! i really want to go out looking for them at parks.

This is my Camponotus sansabeanus colony that I got 2 weeks ago. They have 17 workers and a pile of larvae.

My Camponotus sansabeanus colony moved into a mini hearth and I got a new hyatti colony with 4 workers!

One hyatti worker died and I'm getting a C. anthrax soon, but other then that nothing happened.

My Camponotus anthrax arrived a while ago and they have 8 workers. I also took my vicinus queen out of hibernation and she is doing great. I will have another update in early March when I take the rest of my ants out of hibernation.
