I am very new to ant keeping and I bought an ant queen with 1-4 workers. I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I keep a journal from the eyes of a noob.

Also the species is Camponotus barbaricus

edit: Also if you have some tips for keeping this species I would be very happy to read them

I think everyone should make journals. It's fun and good for people looking to keep certain species to be able to see. Reminds me I need to update mine. lol

Go for it! If you put good photos and write interesting details, people will read it. I love reading about European species.
"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25
Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

I killed my first and last camponotus colony cause I was too impatient they do take their sweet time to make progress.

Lasius was a more fool proof and forgiving species for me as a beginner
