1. Location (on a map) of collection: Playa Del Rey Beach.
2. Date of collection: 6/28/2020
3. Habitat of collection: Some plants next to sand
4. Length (from head to gaster): 1/4th of an Inch
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Reddish Orange body, light orange gaster, has slightly noticeable black stripes on its gaster.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Two big eyes, bulky body, no stinger, but big
7. Distinguishing behavior: N/A
8. Nest description: N/A
9. Nuptial flight time and date: Possibly in the last few days as it seemed like it had landed recently from a nuptial flight
Notes: This queen had all but one of its leg's ripped off by Argentine workers. It was being carried away by the Argentines to eat until I thrashed them off with a stick, unfortunately the queen is dead.
