Soooo just to update, still have three colonies of P. subnitidus (??) and the one colony still has the winged gynes….
Here they are. Surprised they are still around.
I took them off heat in the winter and tried to keep them watered, but that’s about all I did.

Veromessor pergandei, andrei; Novomessor cockerelli

Camponotus fragilis; also separate journal: Camponotus sansabeanus (inactive), vicinus, laevigatus/quercicola

Liometopum occidentale;  Prenolepis imparis; Myrmecocystus mexicanus (inactive)

Pogonomyrmex subnitidus and californicus (inactive)

Tetramorium sp.

Termites: Zootermopsis angusticollis

RIP main colony…. Queen dead….
2nd colony queen still going.
3rd colony failed some weeks ago 😫
