Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp. possibly infertile , Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!
Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen
Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii

Quick question then. I think these pupae/cocoons turn slightly brown don’t they? Does the worker literally hatch from the cocoon?

Technically those would be "bad girls" (not "bad boys") unless your queen wasn't fertilized, but sheesh, that has whole other connotations in our messed-up society.
Anyway congrats! Nanitics can be a little disappointing because when they are young they tend to just stick near mama and apparently do almost nothing, but it's probably the most adorable phase of an ant colony. (Just wait til your colony is constantly staging massive escape attempts and looks like a solid black seething mass... less cute.)
