1. Location (on a map) of collection: Grand Junction, Colorado.
2. Date of collection: 6-15-20
3. Habitat of collection: Gravel/Dirt Driveway next to an open hay field.
4. Length (from head to gaster): 11mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: black head, rusty/brown body, orange/yellow legs, olive gaster.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: nothing specific stands out.
7. Distinguishing behavior: Was running around all by herself in my gravel driveway. Very sporadic and was not easy to catch. No other alates spotted and never seen this type of ant around here.
8. Nest description: No known nest in the area outside of Tetramorium and Pogonomyrmex.
9. Nuptial flight time and date: Based on only finding 1, I assume it wasn’t actually a flight but just 1 stray alate.
