Last week I got a Veromessor pergandei from jeffpbalderston. It was a 7 queen colony with no workers but lots and lots of pupae. One queen died 2 days after arrival but she wasn’t looking good when I got them so I kinda saw it coming. Now the colony is at 7 workers with 6 queens in a Nurbs style pencil box formicarium.9ebba261d3bd359bbcf67f436cbc5202.jpg
This colony is pretty hard to photograph because the test tube is very dirty.

This colony has 15 workers, 5 queens, and tons of brood. Another queen died due to natural causes.

This colony has 40 workers now so they are growing slowly but surely.

The last two queens were chopped up at the top of the formicarium. The colony died off about a month after.
