I caught a formica obscuripes queen today and gave her obscuripes pupae. Callows probably won't be out for a few more weeks, so i can't give her any before the pupae die. So can rufa group, and obscuripes in particular, open pupae?

Formica from rufa group can't open pupae. You need to give her as many callow workers and pupae as you can.
