This is the start of my Tetramorium immigrans journal, I caught many of these on Tuesday, 5/26. I am selling some of them in my shop, and they will be the same development as here. All the queens have eggs and larve, maybe around 20 large larvae. Much more than the Camponotus I'm keeping. I tried feeding honey to 2 when I first caught them, but they did not accept unlike the Camponotus. I'm keeping them around 80 degrees and I expect workers from most of them in about a week or two. I also made an experimental polygynous group. The queens are very clean, keeping their eggs/larvae in neat piles and no mold growth is visible. (the one in the picture moved all its larvae to the other side within 15 seconds because of the light which is why it looks a little messy)

I love my colony. They are my all stars. They eat whatever I give them and they just keep growing. They're always on the go too. A perfect ant. Best of luck. Interested in the polygynous colony.

Workers! Got them a few days ago, on Tuesday I think. Polygynous colony doing well, no workers yet but quite a lot more brood than the single queens.

Tetramorium colonies grow so quickly… especially on their second year.

In all the multi-queen colonies, at least one of the queens have been killed off either by ripping legs off or gaster severed from body. rip polygynous tetras. Some queens not laying too many eggs likely because I haven't been feeding them enough because I have too many. All have about 10 workers. I'm giving some away for free PM if interested.
