ID maybe queen?

I found this little ant outside my house under the car port, after it raid pretty bad.

from south lousiana. collected 6/4/20 around 7:20ish pm cst

is this a queen? cause she seems kinda small. but I know it was from a fire ant bed.

Definitely a queen, hard to tell but probably Pheidole species or Solenopsis.

Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp.   possibly infertile   :(,  Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!  :yahoo: 

 

Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen

                    

Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii

are fire ants queens normally small? I'm pretty new to ant keeping.

How small is it in millimeters?


Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp.   possibly infertile   :(,  Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!  :yahoo:

That looks around normal for a Solenopsis invicta queen.

You guys can not come up with a solid ID with pictures like this.  Please take better images.  If you're using a phone, they focus about 3-4 inches away from the subject, do not zoom in too much.

Yeah but if you don't then the ants will be too small in the picture, right? And if you crop it it will have the same graininess

Am I wrong?

I never said not to zoom in, I said don't zoom in too much.

He needs a macro lens, not a potential argument about zooming in.

I was not trying to argue, just offered advice on how to take a decent image with just a phone camera and no macro lens.

Thank you, clearer images always make an ID a lot easier to agree on.  This is Solenopsis invicta.
