Crazy Storm!

So, in the last 20 minutes, it went from fairly serene to 50+ mph gusts of wind, followed by hail up to 3/4" in diameter, and now it is just sprinkling.

We got over 1" of rain in that time span...

It also dropped the temperature from the low 70's to around 55.

 

 

Maybe the ants will fly tomorrow...

We just had a crazy storm here too. My brother lost 4 trees. One had a 70" root ball ripped out of the ground.

We've had so much rain here this year in Austin. It may be the fact that the past 5 years or so have been drought, but it seems like we've had an extremely unusual amount of rain. It's crazy how dry California has gotten though...
