Oh I remember watching Empire of the Desert Ants recently. The writer(s)/directors/narrator really chose to portray ants as alien, vicious, nasty things.

Yeah and it was brutal. Though I kind of wonder how they set up the warfare shots and what that says about the humans who set them up.  :lol:
