This is the very Beginning of My second Attempt with these Species. (Not including samples of Workers)
When Build gets under way I will share more Photos and give updates.
I have not aquired The Ants yet, But hopefully soon.

That is great to Hear. PurdueEntomology has had good success too. So I remain Hopeful. Surely Between the Three of us We can crack it.
I do not Think it is Impossible. I just Think They just require more work than other Species. Mainly the Food. What Have You Fed Yours.
My First Colony I fed Crickets. The Did very Well but the Queen Died a little after the Two Month mark if memory serves correctly.
I do not think She was "The Queen", but a Daughter Queen. There was a Male present which indicates reproductive production.
She never became Physogastric. Even though I had Her Longe enough that She should have gone through the Nomadic-Statary Phases.

It seems as though your queen had just separated from the parent colony. Did you leave the male? If so, he should have mated with her. I've fed my colonies termites, Camponotus workers and lots of Tapinoma brood.

I captured the Male. He was present in the emigration trail. He was not from that Colony but a Foreign Male. He ended up Dying and I don't think They Mated. She never produced. I really think She was an unmated Daughter, and not The Queen.

I speculate that one of the greater issues in keeping these ants long-term will be their lack of "cleanliness" that ants with a more permanent nesting style exhibit. Only time will tell though, and I truly have 0 experience with the genus. Excited to see what comes of this

That is something I think too. The design of this build will allow Me to disconnect and clean the areas that have been used every now and then to maintain cleanliness.

You only need to capitalize the beginning of sentences, proper nouns, and the word I. I mean no disrespect by this, but if you want to be taken seriously, a little effort in your writing will go a long way.
