Pretty sure it’s a drone, but not 100% sure.
Also have no clue of species.


1. Location of collection: Northeastern Mississippi
2. Date of collection: 05/30/2020
3. Habitat of collection: Blacklight Trap
4. Length (from head to gaster): 8mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Black
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Small
7. Distinguishing behavior: Rather Fast
8. Nest description: NA

Looks like a Camponotus pennsylvanicus male.
