What's the best humidity level for looking for queen ant?

Hello, I'm a guy who wants to start that beautiful hobby. I haven't gotten any queen ant yet and I'm just waiting for right time to searching for it. I know humidity is important for queen ants, but what degrees should we choose when we decided to catch queen ants? Thanks for help.

Humidity levels are going to vary with different species, but a standard test tube set up provides ideal humidity for the majority of queens.

Humidity levels are going to vary with different species, but a standard test tube set up provides ideal humidity for the majority of queens.

I was talking about our first time to going out for catching queen ant. What's the best level in weather's humidity?

It depends upon the species. I find if it is humid enough that we would call it "muggy" or "oppressive" it would probably be good, but that is not the only factor, others being wind, temp, and recent rain.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies. 

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Warmth and light winds are big factors since ants are poor flyers.

I find that light to no wind is important, as ANTDrew said.

I never find queen ants here if the wind is over 2mph.

I checked the whole week and there is no day which is less than 10 km wind. And there is rains, but weather is so cold. Ah, Turkey..
