Traveled for about 2weeks and the friend I kept my odontomachus queen took good care of her.and now when I arrived home I saw this.2 cocoons all alseady formed,i was surprised i didn't even added substrate.how is this possible guys?

They may have used cotton fibers to make the cacoons. Glad she's doing well!

I don't think that's it,i think it is the species that do not need substrate.I don't know the species myself so not 100% sure.

Yes antscali098, they did use the cotton to make their cocoon.

Quick update on my ant . she's doing well and have up to five cocoons now.plus the mold is increasing .AND hoping the first nanitcs next week.
