I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I've finally taken the baby steps to install MediaWiki software on my server that will host a completely open, detailed breakdown of byFormica products and processes.

I'm not sure how difficult this will be, but the idea is to detail everything that goes into product development and allow others to contribute to projects by having unrestricted access to product files, scientific literature sources, raw and processed data, and more.

Maybe Drew and others involved in product development will create pages, as well.  The wiki format may be a better fit than a forum for projects that are somewhat concrete and developed, for users to absorb the details more comprehensibly than when sifting through a threaded discussion.

In any case, this is a major undertaking, and there's probably nothing anyone can do to help at this point, since all product information/files I currently have are generally closed-source or proprietary.  Eventually, I would like www.byformica.com to default to the wiki development page, which will be much more relevant for users and easier to keep updated than a glossy website.

I'll post more details when/if I can manage to complete a detail page or two to get the ball rolling and show how things will work.

God help me.
