Took some pics of my Tapinoma sessile with my new microscope, hopefully some you can explain to me lol.

 

Something is protruding out of this ant's gaster! May be an egg? I couldn't tell if it was a queen or not, due to the fact that it can't zoom out very far.

How far away was the queen from the microscope?

 

Have you tried to back the microscope up a bit and trying to focus it?

The focus range is only 10 millimeters, so if I back it up too far it will just go out of focus, but I will try that...
