Eggs turning pink?

My Ectomomyrmex javanus's eggs started turning into this weird shade of pink. I posted this pic on antkeeping reddit and the responses were that they might be infected with parasites or a virus. of course, there are more professionals here than there. Are these found in other ants as well or is it completely new to the antkeeping world?

could be some type of cyanobacteria infection.
