I think the tetra is a little overpriced, people sell them for $10, and that is with 10+ workers. They are really common in most places

It’s their choice, really. Some people hate tetramorium, some people love them, and that influences what people are willing to pay.

1 Tetramorium immigrans colony-20 workers
1 Dorymyrmex insanus- 1 queen, used to have workers
1 large P. occidentalis colony- around 50 workers, plenty of brood

Maybe let the seller choose the price? And ant rarity varies from state to state, so you really can't dictate the value of ants that aren't in your state.

I think that’s totally reasonable. I’ve seen clowns selling Tapinoma sessile they dug up under a rock for $100 on GAN.
I sold a Tetra queen and nanitics in a custom set up on GAN for $50. The parent gave me double that out of generosity.
