Update 6-22-20

These guys just got workers recently. They have more pupae that still need to hatch. Currently they have 4 workers.

Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp.   possibly infertile   :(,  Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!  :yahoo: 

 

Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen

                    

Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii

Update 6-28-20

Yesterday morning I woke up to these guys killing one of the queens. Makes me real upset. I was really looking forward to seeing how good my 2 queen Pergandei colony would get. Well they at least have 1 queen so the colony is not dead. I'm not sure why they killed the queen.

Update 6-28-20

Oh that's a real bummer! So sorry Brad! But even a 1 queen colony can get absolutely huge within a year, so hopefully you'll see that.

You move them and feed them bigger quantities of seeds and insects if you want.

Hmmm. Do most people end up doing diy formicariums once they outgrow commercial stuff like tarheel?
