A few small bubbles are fine. Just make sure that water is wicking its way to the ants over the next week or so. It doesn't have to be like super wet or anything, but if too much of it is drying out (like for example if half the cotton looks super dry) then you might need to try again. (Actually it's always good to check on the cotton as time goes by. Like today my Preno group's cotton was remarkably pink. Yuck.)
