Would people be interested in a nice looking wooden test tube rack? It would have solid sides except the top where it would have a cloth you could lift to see the ants. It would also have clips for a heating cable so you could run one along the end of the test tubes. I might also include a digital thermometer. If there is interest I would sell on the AntsDakota site.

of course! If you are interested in selling them, please send me pics and the price in a PM! i would love to sell them!

Anyone else interested? Hoping to see like 10 people interested before I really invest time and money in making some. Also I may be able to get Neivamyrmex nigrescens

No promises though. Assuming I get out of the house to the place. I'd still have to find them. Hopefully they're still there.

Here's a picture of what it might look like. This is the test tube rack I use. It alternates between 16 and 20 mm test tubes. I just put a cloth on top and use tape to attach the heating cable. The actual thing would be more professional.

That would be very convenient for keeping the test tubes dark!

i feel like you could paint it, because that would be cool. also, maybe put the tubes closer together, too, to make it have more value.

For sure. I could fit way more test tubes in there. What color do you recommend? I was thinking of doing some sort of stain.

stain sounds cool as well. there are different colors as well. maybe start with 2, and then expand if people really want it.

I updated the main page a few days ago, it now looks much better.

I also worked on making our Discord Server's rules look both appealing, easy to read, and slightly humorous.
