I am not sure if anyone has a solution for this, but I have a THA mini hearth with the nest mates though after a while, the water seems to leak or spill out completely even with the mesh still present.

Anyone have any issues or solutions regarding this issue?

The only thing I can think of is that the stopper is not sealing the tube completely. You could also check that the mesh is clean, as debris may cause water to leak out in the same way that placing your fingertip on it does.

Is the open end of the nestmate plugged with the rubber stopper?

Someone else had their ants sticking bits of sand to the mesh which allowed water to leak through.

I have one with the rubber stopper on leaking, and two with rubber stoppers on not leaking, though working properly once on.
