Gathering Wild Larva to boost Queens?

Hello y'all, I have a question I've been thinking over. Are there any downsides to taking wild larva/eggs from outside nests and give them to test-tube queens of the same ants? I have fairly easy access to a place that has tons of nests with lots of larva and eggs so I wanted to give my queens a boost.

Mites. I've done it with my queen and she had 82 larvae/pupae which are still hatching as we speak, and about 25 workers right now. And if you give the queen that many, she's obviously not going to eat them all even if she is stressed. c: and mine has no mites btw, its a game of luck i guess.
