I'm not sure what my Pogonomyrmex are loving (aside from freshly cooked shrimp and lamb) but my Veros have also collected:

dandelion seeds from the lawn, unsprayed (assist by removing the fluff, which confuses them)

organic poppy seeds (spice aisle of grocery stores)

bulk organic quinoa (bulk dry goods aisle of grocery stores)

bulk organic amaranth (bulk dry goods aisle of grocery stores)

shelled hemp hearts (packaged health food)

ground flax seed (packaged health food)

It’s actually ‘Pogonomyrmex’, not ‘Pogonomyrmix’.
