I have some colobopsis up state from where I am and was thinking of spending a weekend to try to catch a queen. My question is what time of day do they fly

Where abouts upstate have you seen them? I haven't found any in ulster county, but there are a lot of species I haven't found.

I would assume they fly 9-11pm like all the Camponotus I've found since they were considered a sub-genus for awhile.

They are really easy to attract to blacklight setups. They start showing up once it gets truly dark, like 9pm.
