So apparently, a 102-year-old woman in Italy made a full recovery from COVID-19 after around 20 days in the hospital. Finally some good news
That’s awesome! Good for her.

We are still allowed to walk around here. I am going to get worried about this country when they say that we cannot even move around...
Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

I am running low on feeders, I am currently catching bugs in my house and researching how to breed feeders that I obtain a starting population in the wild.

Glad I’m not the only one who has a problem with destroying one’s body.Turns out the highschoolers were so awful - vaping/smoking dope on camera, asking obscene questions to teachers, signing in with names like Ben Dover, etc.

I was supposed to start “teaching” online today. Turns out the highschoolers were so awful - vaping/smoking dope on camera, asking obscene questions to teachers, signing in with names like Ben Dover, etc. -that my county canceled the whole thing today. To top it off, random strangers were logging in to sessions. A HOT mess, to put it kindly.
I am a college freshman, but my younger brother is a Sophomore in high school. It honestly surprised me to hear how horribly unprepared so many schools were to go online. Do you guys do all your grading in a gradebook? When I was a Senior in high school our teachers used canvas to give out and receive assignments, as well as infinite campus to show us our grades in real-time. Theoretically, it'd be very easy to move to an online-only format in that situation.
Currently Keeping:
Trachymyrmex septentrionalis
Pheidole pilifera
Forelius sp. (Monogynous, bicolored) "Midwestern Forelius"
Crematogaster cerasi
Pheidole bicarinata
Aphaenogaster rudis
Camponotus chromaiodes
Formica sp. (microgena species)
Nylanderia cf. arenivega
My online learning stopped for spring break. Even though we had 2 weeks when the idiotic district and state said the teachers could not teach anything online because there was probably one or 2 people that did not have a computer or internet. And all the teachers were prepared. Luckily, the zoom meetings we had were not too bad. But, there were people messing around(walking around, eating, playing on their phone), and most of the meetings were useless anyways. It's really annoying for me, because they will have to alter next years math curriculum, which means that it will probably always be altered, as it was multiple chapters missed. And, the math teachers can't even teach full lessons in a day because it breaks guidelines of 30 minutes only. Therefore, we go about 3 times slower.
All in all, I would say that the school district I am in is completely useless.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

My school sends online work and self learning, such as using textbooks sent home in the beginning of the year, newela articles, and various videos all mashed up into lessons crafted by the teachers. All the zoom calls are optional Q and A sessions or office hours

It sounded like you do those things. I know you don’t, but that is what it sounded like.
Do you see what I’m saying?

It's no wonder why the majority of the people in this country are so stupid.
For those who think COVID-19 is just the Flu.
