When should I start feeding my ants again?

I have been letting my ants rest all winter, no food, with water, and they are doing fine. I have not put them anywhere super cold because i'm worried for them. Does anyone know when I should start feeding them again? I'm living in Vermont, if you need any location info.

As soon as you take them out of hibernation.

yeah give them a drop of honey and some protein the day after you take them out
