Hi,

I just joined this forum.

My name is Albert, I am currently a student in 12th-grade. I am from the beautiful city of Leipzig in Germany.

I have been keeping Ants for around 5 years now, it all started with a Lasius niger queen.

Right now I keep Camponotus turkestanus (Queen with brood), Camponotus cruentatus ( Queen with 4 Workers), Camponotus herculeanus (Queen with 4 workers), Camponotus pseudoirritans (200 Workers, no Queen), Serviformica rufibarbis (queen with 10 workers), Pogonomyrmex barbatus (Queen with brood) and Lasius flavus (1 Queen 50-60 workers).

However, I plan to focus on just four species: Camponotus turkestanus, Camponotus cruentatus, Pogonomyrmex barbatus and Serviformica rufibarbis.

I am probably gonna start a journal for the Camponotus cruentatus, since I havenĀ“t found any good longer journals.

Best regards

Albert

Welcome! Definitely start a journal; we love reading about species from other lands on here. You have a lot of experience to share as well.

Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.
