I am working on a formicarium design, and I don't have the amount of ant colonies I want at the moment to test it properly. This is a plaster/grout/sand/natural coloring/ hybrid formicarium. I like it a lot, and it's not as heavy as it seems, but mostly need to know more information as far as actual ant colonies goes. I will be shipping out these 9" by 3" nests for $30 plus shipping, mostly just to cover the building process, only asking if you purchase it to report back on it's performance and how it can be improved. If you would like to customize it at all (Custom Chambers, hydration ports, holes, etc.) it will be $5 extra.

Looking for information on how long nest stays saturated, how durable it is, any design flaws I may be unaware about, how the ants enjoy it, etc.

*Please note this formicarium is, so far, made for larger species. It hasn't been tested on any small ants, and cannot ensure there will be no escapes for smaller ants.
