This is split off from my old journal

 

I have 3 Camponotus Hyatti queens and 4 Camponotus Clarithorax queens, all three hyatti colonies have 1 worker, and 1 of them has 2. The clarithorax colonies are about to get their first worker, but 2 of them may have eaten their brood, which is unfortunate. I also have 1 dud C. Clarithorax but she isn't really doing much.

All three hyatti colonies have 2 workers, and one even has 3 now. Now one of the clarithorax colonies have 1 worker as well. I have 2 or 3 clarithoraxes that probably ate their brood, and I am considering combining them.

Nice! I currently have C. novaeboracensis and C. nearcticus queens so it will be cool to see how the different species develop.
