I ordered a pheidole colony here 3 days ago and got all workers and queens as expected. Vern is very good at responding quickly and very patient.

Highly recommend Vern, my C. Vicinus and Pheidole Californica colony arrived safe and sound! Now they are all settled it, the packaging was amazing and they seemed comfortable.
My Ants:
(x1) Campontous semitstaceus ~20 workers, 1 Queen
(x1) Camponotus vicinus ~10 workers, 1 Queen (all black variety)
(x1) Tetramorium immigrans ~100 workers, 1 Queen
(x1) Myrmercocystus mexicanus -1 Queen
(x2) Mymercocystus mimcus -1 Queen
(x1) Mymercocystus testaceus ~45 workers, 1 Queen

How'd you get those Myrmecocystus mexicanus all the way up North?


My Ants:
(x1) Campontous semitstaceus ~20 workers, 1 Queen
(x1) Camponotus vicinus ~10 workers, 1 Queen (all black variety)
(x1) Tetramorium immigrans ~100 workers, 1 Queen

How'd you get those Myrmecocystus mexicanus all the way up North?

just seen this I traveled to the desert in so cal on august 15/16 2020 and was able to witness a flight of mexicanus,mimicus,and navajo myrmecocystus was an absolute dream come true

I was going to go those days, but I could not. I thought nothing flew too..
