Hey there I’m trying to see some of your ant rooms or the area where you keep your ants.I'm moving soon and packed all my ant stuff last night and it filled a huge tote and was all over my game room.I'm trying to be super organized in my new house ,which will have two huge walk In closets up stairs .so trying to get ideas of how best to use the space and ways to keep all my utensils and equipment the most organized.thanks for any input in advance.

Id rather not. My desk is a pigsty. I am the most unorganized person. So my desk is just a pile of papers, pencils, pens, test tubes, ant colonies, and other random stuff.

Those trays for your test tube seem like a must if you plan on going hard during nuptial flights this season

TWO walk in closets? Game room? Wow. I have real space problem (try ZERO walk in closets, not even a coat closet), so I just have a few small rolling carts for my bugs - one for isopods, one for ants, one for supplies. My ant cart has two small seedling heating mats on the top two trays and more ant supplies on the bottom tray, with various colonies on the seedling heating mats. The thermostats are huge and are on a chair next to the cart. When I need to do stuff I use a table next to the cart. Anyway rolling carts are important because when the Argentines invade and we have to spray Raid, I can move all the bugs out of the room pretty quickly.

So I can see that many of you don't have an ant room/setup. Sad...

Anyways, I have a loft bed with a large desk area underneath, and that's where I store all of my ant supplies and colonies, along with books, specimens, and all sorts of other stuff. Here are a few pictures:

Awesome thanks for the pics.if I wasn’t married I’d be getting a bunk bed set up like this.inhad one as a kid but wasn’t into ants back then.

I have no chance of doing something like that for now...

I keep my ants in a small box, as well as everything that needs heat. Everything else goes outside.
