Because the girls had funnelled all the way to the lid and it was getting difficult to feed them — and they were often standing at the porthole window where I'd left myself the possibility of connecting another outworld — I bought a second AusAnts Large Outworld from Ant Keeping Depot.

I naively thought I would turn it into a garden outworld

Isn't it picturesque?

Young plants ready to take root and grow, and a flat rock for their feeders.

Needless to say, the ants had other ideas.

But at least they're finding it satisfying; and it's possible to feed them without a bunch of them rushing 'over the top'.
The plants are doomed, though
