1. Location (on a map) of collection: Lembang, Bandung, Indonesia
2. Date of collection: 21 Desember 2019
3. Habitat of collection: Park at hiking road
4. Length (from head to gaster): 15 mm (head to gaster) + 3 mm mandible
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: black with orange mandible
6. Distinguishing characteristics: 
7. Distinguishing behavior: can jump
8. Nest description: 

9. Nuptial flight time and date:

I'm very sure it is not bullet ant because i'm not from Australia.

I did same research. Is it Harpegnothus sp.??
It's the fist time i see this ant. How to take care her?

Looks to be Harpegnathos venator. Also, Bullet Ants (Paraponera clavata) look nothing like this, are huge, and are restricted to Central and South America.

Pretty sure he meant 'bull ant', as in Myrmecia. ;)

I think that is a queen. She will need to forage for insects; try keeping her in a clear plastic cup (with a lid) filled halfway with moist soil and feeding her small crickets, preferably frozen or crushed. And yes, she is a Harpegnathos, which I have never seen before on this forum, so consider yourself lucky. I would love to see you make a journal on this queen, and I bet a lot of people would read it.

I would pre-kill the insects so they can’t possibly harm her and so she will waste less energy. That’s an amazing find!
