be more specific, many ants have big heads.

As per forum rules, please state your location. And it is illegal to import any ants except Pogonomyrmex occidentalis from other states or countries without a PPQ526 permit.

I live in tigard oregon and the species that I am particularly interested in is Pheidole megacephala. Thanks again hopefully that clears everything up

Pheidole megacephala is a sub-tropical species at its coldest. There are no known records in Oregon, or even outside of SoCal on the West Coast. Sorry
