Hello all. It's been a few years since I've posted on here.

Today, we just had our first significant rainfall event here in the Phelan and Pinon Hills area. The storm erupted at around 4pm and lasted on and off until 6pm. It wasn't a strong thunderstorm, but rather a constant flow of rain. The nuptial flights have started already, however I was unable to find any of my favorite species of ants. I'm going to try and do some collecting tomorrow afternoon if possible, after work. Just posting to let you guys and gals know that our first monsoonal wave has materialized. We have a couple more easterly waves approaching throughout this week due to the high pressure building around the four corners of the U.S.

Wow, I never even noticed you posted this year until now. I figured you were done with ants. This year's monsoon season sucked.
