I have have a 2 queen colony (12 workers) and I'm seeing tons of workers outside now I'm wondering if I could take wild workers and add them too my colony (I'm thinking max like 5-10

You can't, they aren't supercolonial. The reason you're seeing workers is because they are just becoming active again.

You can't, they aren't supercolonial. The reason you're seeing workers is because they are just becoming active again.
Don't you mean polygenus, or is this a ant term I never heard of?

For an ant to be supercolonial, they have to be able to fuse to other colonies, without aggression.

Tapinoma sessile is a good example of ants that happily fuse colonies and take over your kitchen while they’re at it. Argentine ants took over CA this way as well.
