Caught these 4 beauties in a random nuptial flight the other day. Regarded as a rarer genus to catch because of small nuptial flights in winter, luckily grabbed a few and and they're laying already.

Young ant keeper with a decent amount of knowledge on local ant species.
YouTube: https://m.youtube.co...uKsahGliSH7EqOQ (It's pretty dead. Might upload again soon, don't expect my voice to sound the same though.)
Currently kept ant species, favorites have a star in front of their names (NOT in alphabetical order, also may be outdated sometimes): ★ Camponotus irritans inferior, ★ Ooceraea biroi, Pheidole parva, ★ Nylanderia sp., ★ Paraparatrechina tapinomoides, Platythyrea sp., Anochetus sp., Colobopsis sp. (cylindrica group), ★ Crematogaster ferrarii, Polyrhachis (Myrma) cf. pruinosa, Polyrhachis (Cyrtomyrma) laevissima, Tapinoma sp. (formerly Zatapinoma)
Death count: Probably over a hundred individual queens and colonies by now. I cannot recall whatsoever.

Nor did I. I just didn't have another test tube to house them when I was collecting them and they didn't go attacking each other so I hopped they would all work together, kind of like workers for a queen but all being queen's would pump out egg with each otherI didn’t know these guys were polygynous or pleo. Good luck!

17 Eggs in alittle over 2 weeks. These girls will be pumping out little ones really fast when they get workers going

3 out of 4 queens have dropped their wings and there's about 20-25 eggs now. Hopefully soon there will be some nanitics emerging. How long do they usually take to form into workers from eggs? Also queens had abit of honey but didn't take to the second drop so somewhat semi-claustral
