If by small chance anyone in Tucson, AZ is looking for some leafcutter ants, I have 5-6 queens in AC outworld...captured them about 2 weeks ago in huge flight outside my front door.

Very difficult to see and I have zero idea if they are reproducing at this point--although they are still alive and have dropped wings. Will be happy to give these away in the hope they may live, and someone will make a go of it.

Do they have any fungus? without it they won't be able to get a colony going.

You seem to be in California and the seller is in Arizona.  It is illegal for reproductives to cross state borders.  If you wish to buy ants on this forum, put your location in your profile (directed at bugboy).

Yeah I know that, just leaving a comment. I was keeping Acromyrmex last year, had some issues keeping the fungus alive so have a little experience with it. Not as much as Drew, but some

I wasn't looking to buy, I am well aware of the legalities of shipping ants across borders. I simply was asking a question for everyone's knowledge.

That was two years ago. Let bygones be bygones. Lol
