Brachymyrmex patagonicus, a fully claustral and easy to keep species. Good luck with her!

In my research I have discovered that brachymyrmex patagonicus is a very undocumented invasive. I have seen many photos and ID requests of these guys from places they havent ever been officially seen before by myrmecologists. This could be because patagonicus is a very small ant or that they have recently arrived, but their populations arent too noticeable yet.

That's pretty surprising, considering that Brachymyrmex patagonicus forms pretty decent trails that I'd say are pretty noticeable, I guess.
Currently Keeping:
Camponotus chromaiodes, Camponotus nearcticus, Stigmatomma pallipes, Strumigenys brevisetosa, Strumigenys clypeata, Strumigenys louisianae, Strumigenys membranifera, Strumigenys reflexa, Strumigenys rostrata

Ok, give her a drop of honey about half the size of her head, then put her in a dark, undisturbed closet for about a month. Try not to check on her too much, maybe once every 2 weeks max once a week.

This is either Nylanderia or some kind of Dolichoderine. Not Brachymyrmex, though. In southeast Asia there are many things it could be.

It is likely Nylanderia or Irridomyrmex.
