I gave my ants food and honey but they act like it doesn't exist

How long have you waited? Most of the time you won't catch them eating the food but see it gradually going away or decreasing in amount or maybe they just aren't hungry. Are they fully claustral or semi claustral? I assume semi because you have always talked about having semi claustral queens.


Lasius Neoniger (Around 23ish workers)

Tetramorium Immigran (8 Workers)

Myrmica Queen (Not 100% on species)

Formica Subsericea (No workers)

Maybe they just aren't hungry. As long as you offer them a reasonably varied diet on a regular basis, they should be fine. If you are worried, try termites. Most ants cannot refuse those. Make sure not to get the goo-spraying ones though. They have a pointy thing on their head, and are bad news for ants.

Maybe you're just not seeing them eat, many ants get nervous when you check on them so they may just be shy.
