I’m pretty sure there is none here but if anyone has heard of crematogaster in Washington please respond or if there are colonies near the borders of Idaho and Oregon cause maybe I could find a queen in Washington right next to the border.

Yea unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any Crematogaster found in Washington. You could try right along the border though.

If you live close to where they have been seen in Oregon, you can probably find some where you live. Maybe even send a couple workers to the experts, to set the record straight. In my home state of Wisconsin, the ant fauna is severely understudied. I'm talking about 30-35 species undocumented. Maybe Washington is the same way.

i may have seen a crematogaster worker in washington but i'm not sure. it was a small black ant on a locust tree but i didn't get a cl

i live like 5-10 minutes away from the border and I'm pretty sure i have seen a crematogaster worker. Although it was at my brothers basketball game which i think was right across the border where they have been documented

Ants don't care about borders. If they are that close, they live in your state. Don't give up.
