Not if it is a wine cooler for hibernating ants.

Because it’s so obvious.

Wine from the sweet nectars of ant gasters--aged. That would be some expensive wine. Just make sure the temps get 'lower than 11C' -antguy.

I just use a mini-fridge myself, but I figure any would be fine as long as  you get a good price. Just check Amazon or eBay. Conversely, you might find really cheap mini-fridges at Goodwill or other thrift stores.

I got a wine cooler off ebay for 70$, unfortunately it only gets down to 52 F (11 C, as silq said), luckily it should be fine since I don't have any true hibernating species, but I will likely have to get a different one eventually but for now this works. If you were wondering it is black and decker brand, 16 bottle wine cooler

It can hold numerous bead case style formicaria or 4 THA Phalanx formicaria, and in the spring-summer, wine!😏

That’s very nice. I have a cuisinart 12 bottle wine cellar. I haven’t used it yet and this will be my first year to place ants in diapause state. 6 starter colonies.
