I'm putting the "cf" as a temporary measure until someone confirms or denies because right now I'm too tired to care and will update when I properly identify the ants.

 

I caught these three queens while digging up the two larger Myrmecocystus spp. Their founding chambers looked surprisingly similar to M. mexicanus in shape and size.  I also observed they have a much more yellow coloration to their abdomens from the normal C. semitestaceus.  Hopefully I will get at least one good colony out of them.
