This was the only D. bicolor (only Dorymyrmex in general) that I dug up the entire trip with dspdrew.

I kept confusing their chambers with those velvet mites that bury themselves.  Last time I kept a colony of D. bicolor, the queen got up to about 6 workers before they dismembered her for fun.  Hopefully it's different this time.

Absolutely. I should just throw out all my Myrmecocystus.

Yeah, you should release them! Also I hear Nurbs is looking for some Dorymyrmex. You should get some for him if you find any more.
